Sadly, and very unexpectedly, on 6th September 2006 the founder and voice of Central Taxis, Derek Smith, passed away. Derek spent his life taking care of his family and expanding his company, making it what it is today, one of the finest in its league. He took great pride in his motto, striving to give the best possible service available for a fair and affordable price. |
Since our sad loss, with Lynne & Ryan (their eldest son) at the helm, the company has continued to flourish. We are very pleased to announce that we have recently fulfilled Derek's ambition and have relocated to our purpose built offices, workshops and storage facilities at Derek Smith House, Hareness Road, Aberdeen. |
